Chocolate Rolo Cowboy Hats

Calling all chocolate-lovers and cowboy fans! CHOCOLATE ROLO COWBOY HATS...Pringles, dipped in chocolate, a Rolo, and licorice. So cute and a unique summer treat to make with kids and the whole family.

Ingredients
  

  • 40 Pringle potato chips regular flavors, salted
  • 6 Oz Chocolate Chips or Candy Coating
  • 40 Rolo candies unwrapped
  • 3.75 Oz Twizzlers Pull 'N' Peel Cherry Candy preferably Minis

Instructions
 

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay unbroken potato chips on parchment. Peel Twizzlers (licorice) apart into individual strands, cut into half if using regular size.
  • Melt chocolate in the microwave by heating it for 30 seconds then stirring and repeating the process until it is melted and smooth. Dip each potato chip into the chocolate covering on both sides and place it on the parchment paper.
  • While chocolate is still soft, place a Rolo in the middle of the chip and wrap licorice around Rolo, crossing them in the back.
  • If needed you can put a drop of chocolate on the licorice to secure it.

Notes

Chef's Note: For a festive, fiesta-style hat, carefully sprinkle multi-colored sprinkles around outer rim of hat while chocolate is still soft.
